When I received an email from Nike asking me to take part in a photoshoot for the LDN Edit, I thought that I was going to vomit all over my desk because I was so nervous. But, after a few weeks of exchanging over excited Whatsapps and emails, Zanna, Aj, Natasha and I took to the streets of London to shoot the Run LDN Ladies London Edit.
There is nothing like coming home from a long day at work and listening to the beautiful voice of Miguel as you soak in a candle lit bubble bath. I wish that I could end every day with a candle lit bath, but between working and blogging, I don’t usually have much time to myself, which is why I sometimes light my beautiful Neom Organics three wick candle to provide me with a little bit of down time before I close my eyes for the day.
I have decided to join the army, Kayla Itsines army and we are on a mission to be bikini ready in just 12 weeks. Kayla Itsines is an Australian personal trainer and her greatest weapon is a little something called the Bikini Body Guide (BBG). The Bikini Body Guide is a 12 week workout plan and after seeing 1000s of before and after pictures on Instagram, I have decided to join in on the fat burning and body toning fun! Kayla’s plan is based on performing a mixture of resistance circuits and cardio exercises. Each workout lasts for 28 minutes and you can do it in the gym or in your home.
I exercise to feel good but I mostly exercise to look good, which is why I have decided to do the Bikini Body Guide. I have just started the plan so I thought I would do a post on my intentions for the next 12 weeks and how I am fitting Kayla’s guide into my existing exercise routine.
This weekend I did my first ever bootcamp style exercise class with my boyfriend and his family! Despite the difference in our fitness levels, I managed to create a workout for everyone and today we are all feeling a little bit sore!
I enjoyed teaching Tashi’s Bootcamp so much that I am hoping to make it a regular workout, and I have decided to share it with you on my blog as I would love to hear your feedback. This workout doesn’t require any form of gym equipment so you can do it in your home, back garden or in the park with a group of friends.
I have been wearing weaves since I was 18 and I never thought that the day would come where I would be truly happy with my weave. Countless of trips to the salon have ended in disappointment or short lived happiness, but after spending 6 hours in the salon and 600g-700g of Brazilian hair later, I am finally happy with the result. I feel like a new woman and it has inspired me to change the name of my blog!
Easter is a time to catch up with friends and family, which usually ends in eating and drinking too much and feeling as round as an Easter egg. One bad weekend isn’t going to make you gain 10lbs, but if you woke up today and vowed to get your diet and exercise regime back on track in time for summer, here are a few simple tips to help steer you in the right direction.
Since creating my protein pancake recipe, my breakfasts have been transformed so I thought it was about time that I shared my favourite recipe with you. I usually have protein pancakes after my morning gym session, and they only take a few minutes to make which is perfect for those of you who don’t have much time to make breakfast in the morning.
This recipe is grain and gluten free, but it is high in protein and packed with nutritious ingredients to help you feel fuller for longer.
