If I could build a time machine so that i could turn back time, I would relive the past 3 weeks over and over again. It’s not fair, why can’t I build a time machine and turn back time? They say that your wedding day is one of the happiest days of your life and on that day I discovered a happiness that I didn’t know could be found. We said “I do” surrounded by our teary eyed families and friends and our hearts were so filled with love. My heart is still full and I hope this feeling lasts until the sun sets for me.
Six and a half years have passed since we first met and our flame is still roaring. At first it probably looked like young love. As we’ve gotten older the only words that can be used to describe what we feel, is unconditional love. Each day feels like a new adventure and life is a lot brighter when he is around. I don’t know where this journey called life will lead. But, as long as I take every step with my husband by my side, everything will be alright in the end.
2017 has got off to the most beautiful start and I am excited to see what life as Mrs Skervin-Clarke has in store for me! What next? Now that a huge chunk of my time will no longer be dedicated to planning a wedding, I will continue studying for my personal training qualifications and growing my blog. I’m also doing a lot of travelling this year which has come as an unexpected surprise! But that’s life, it’s full of surprises and the best thing that we can do is try to squeeze every ounce of happiness out of it.
Maybe one day in the future we’ll be able to turn back time so that we can relive our special day, but for now we’ll keep moving forward. I guess we can just renew our wedding vows if the time machine thing doesn’t happen, or throw some kind of lavish party where I get to wear my wedding dress again. I really want to wear my dress again.
