Ageing is an inevitable process but I take my skincare routine so seriously that during the winter months, it turns in to a bit of a Black Ops Mission.

I am on a mission to age gracefully but the cold air makes our skin become dehydrated, making it the perfect opportunity for wrinkles to form. I may only be 22 but wrinkles are irreversible, so I am acting now to slow down the wrinkling process with a little help from these three beauty products.

Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv

I cannot even begin to describe how magical this cream is.

Estee Lauder’s Re Nutriv Crème is the richest of the Re-Nutriv range, making it an ideal winter face cream as it provides you with intense moisture that lasts all day long.

It is a little bit more expensive than most moisturisers, which is why I only use it in the winter, but you should see this cream as a long term investment as it will help to keep your skin looking youthful.

My mother introduced me to the Re-Nutriv range and she has a juggernaut worth of the stuff (pictured above). I managed to persuade her to give me one of the smaller versions of the cream and she sent me on my way with this little pot which should last me till spring.

The cream is thick but it doesn’t leave you feeling greasey which means that your make up can be applied easily on top of it. Since using this cream my skin feels softer and it has given me a radiant glow, even though we are in the midst of winter

This cream can be used as a day and a night cream, so I use it twice daily. Estee Lauder has really spoilt us with this one.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream

The layer of skin that is underneath our eyes is really thin, which means that we need to work hard to keep it looking hydrated and wrinkle free.

I have tried lots of different eye creams to help improve the appearance of my under eye my area but non of them work as well as the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream.

This cream rejuvenates my skin and provides me with long lasting moisture to help make my eyes look bright, even at 6am.

I apply a thin layer of this cream twice a day and it melts in to my skin like butter. The best thing about this eye cream is that its lightweight texture makes it the perfect base for applying a concealer, which helps me to achieve an almost flawless Kardashian look.

I have been a Carmex addict since the early 2000s and this little tin is my ultimate pocket remedy.

The winter seems to suck the moisture out of our lips, and there is nothing more painful than a gust of wind kissing your dry, chapped lips.

Carmex is the best moisuturing lip balm that I have come across. It keeps my lips feeing soft and moisturised for hours and there isn’t a day that goes by where I haven’t used this little ray of sunshine.

You only need to use a small amount and its matte, non sticky texture means that I can apply my lipsticks on top of it with ease.

Thanks to these beauty products, I am tackling wrinkles one frown line at a time.

I should really use eye cream…just noticing the fine lines happening. I might give this a go – although it is slightly out of my price range for now.
Lovely blog and lovely post 🙂
